Frequently asked questions
Everything we get asked about Roblox codes and how BloxCodes works.
About Roblox codes
- What are Roblox codes?
- Short alphanumeric strings (e.g. SUMMER2026 or BloxFruits3M) that game developers hand out to reward players. Redeeming a code in-game grants gems, boosts, pets, currency or other items — always free, never costs Robux.
- Where do developers announce new codes?
- Most commonly the game's official Twitter/X account, Discord server, YouTube channel and Roblox group description. Codes also surface in Fandom community wikis within hours. BloxCodes pulls from wikis and selected Twitter accounts twice a day.
- Are codes the same across servers and platforms?
- Yes. A code works the same whether you're on PC, mobile, console or Xbox. Same code, same reward. Some codes are region-limited (rare) — those are usually called out in the announcement post.
Why a code might not work
- It says 'Invalid Code' — what now?
- Three possibilities, in order: (1) you typed it manually and a character is off — use the Copy button; (2) the code has expired but isn't flagged yet — vote 👎 so we can mark it; (3) you've already redeemed it on this account — codes are one-use per account.
- Why do codes expire?
- Developers tie codes to events, milestones (10M visits, 100K likes) or updates. Once the event ends or the milestone code has been redeemed by enough players, the code is deactivated server-side. BloxCodes detects this via community voting — 5+ 👎 votes flips a code to Expired.
- I see 'Already Used' but I've never redeemed this code
- Codes are tied to your Roblox account, not the device. If you have multiple accounts or were logged into a friend's account, the redemption may have happened there. Some games also rotate codes during testing — a code may briefly show as used and then activate again.
About BloxCodes
- How does BloxCodes know which codes work?
- We scrape official game wikis and a curated list of developer Twitter accounts every 12 hours. New codes start as 'Unverified' (yellow badge). Once 2 community members 👍, they're promoted to 'Active'. Codes with 5+ 👎 votes get flagged 'Expired'. No human moderates — it's entirely community-driven verification.
- Is BloxCodes affiliated with Roblox?
- No. We're an independent fan site. Codes come from official game developers' own announcements (wikis, Twitter, Discord). We don't sell Robux, don't run giveaways, don't ask for your Roblox password. If anyone asking for your password points to BloxCodes, it's a scam.
- How can I suggest a new game?
- Open an issue on our GitHub or just tell us — if a game has an active Fandom wiki with a Codes page, we can add it in minutes via the same auto-discovery system we already use.
- Are there ads or trackers?
- BloxCodes uses lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics (Umami via gaijin.dk) to count page visits — no personal data, no third-party trackers, no advertising scripts. No login, no email signup, no cookies for visitors.
